Multitude
Combining elements of improvisation and set material, Multitude is a puzzle which the dancers put together in the moment of performance navigating the tension between collective decisions and individual impulses. Part choreography, part game, the rules of the game are gradually revealed as the piece progresses.
Shift Youth Dance Company presented Multitude as part of Fresh 2017.
Music: “Allegro”, from Concerto for two violins in D minor by JS Bach BWV 1043, played by Yehudi Menuhin and Christian Ferras.
